BMP is located in the centre of Greenland's capital, Nuuk. BMP street address is: Imaneq 29.

The BMP staff, numbering approximately 30, offer services in three languages: English, Greenlandic, and Danish.

Office hours are from 09:00 to 16:00, local time. Greenland is always 4 hours behind Denmark, and thus is 2 hours behind Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) in the summer, and 3 hours behind UTC in the winter. The transition from winter to summer time is made on the last weekend in March (in the year 2000, at 01:00 UTC 26 March; in 2001, at 01:00 UTC 25 March). The transition from summer time to winter time is made on the last weekend in October (in 1999, at 01:00 UTC 31 October; in 2000, at 01:00 UTC 29 October; in 2001, at 01:00 UTC 28 October).

Greenland is reached by phone and fax with the standard international prefix (011, for example, in the case of calls originating in North America), followed by the country code 299, followed by the 6-digit local number. Telecommunications, including the Internet, in Nuuk, and in essentially all other centres of population in Greenland, are fully modernized.
