PDAC 2011
March 6–9, 2011, Toronto, Canada, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building.
Since its inception in 1932, the annual convention of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) has been a gathering place for people and companies involved in the search for and the development of new mineral deposits. Over the past 79 years, the PDAC International Convention, Trade Show and Investors Exchange has become the most important event in the world of exploration, bringing together a wide range of players involved in the field from all over the globe.
The BMP and GEUS will be present at the convention all four days. Visit us at booth number 417.
PDAC Presentation Room 711 Monday March 7th 2011
The BMP and the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) present the latest results from exploration in Greenland with special focus on the new stream sediment data from SE-Greenland. The newest data from the 2010 field campaign will be released at the session. The geology has been reinterpreted based on new data gathered during the 2009 and 2010 field seasons. The field studies have outlined the basic regional geology as the probable host for mineral occurrences such as magmatic Ni-PGE-Au, lode-gold, IOCG, and intrusion-related REE types. The results of the SW-Greenland campaign (2008-2010) and the latest news on the sediment-hosted copper in North Greenland will also be highlighted.
