Supplier Seminar January 19 2011
The objectives of this seminar are for mineral companies to present contracts Greenlandic companies can bid on for the upcoming season and the years ahead for the contractors and suppliers to the mineral industry in Greenland, to alert them to the requirements they have to meet in order to work for or supply goods and/or services to your operation in Greenland.
The Mineral Resources Act stipulates that if possible companies should use Greenlandic contractors and suppliers and this seminar is meant to facilitate cooperation between companies and Greenlandic contractors and suppliers to the benefit of both parties. This is an area that receives great attention from the Government of Greenland who considers the mineral sector to be one of the growth sectors in the Greenlandic economy. In order for it to become that it is necessary to foster mutually beneficial cooperation between mineral companies operating in Greenland and Greenlandic contractors and suppliers.
